Like an acorn taking root, Oak Design & Build began as a small, deliberate joinery workshop founded by Alan Short, grounded in craftsmanship and a deep understanding of timber. Over time, it has grown into a family-run construction practice spanning heritage, commercial, and residential projects, without losing sight of its origins.
